Payroll Tax Filing Senior Manager (CPP, EA, or CPA Required)
Oversee and manage the client delivery of tax filing, directly and indirectly, through team colleagues and managers. This role is a member of senior leadership ensuring excellence in delivery across the entire Payroll Tax Filing organization. Responsible for executing client payroll tax filings, addressing payroll tax notices, and effectively managing client relationships.

Payroll Tax Filing Senior Manager duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for overall client delivery and satisfaction in payroll tax filing, payroll tax notices, and assessments.

• Lead, train, educate and inspire a team of professionals to embrace change and drive excellence across all aspects of payroll tax delivery.  Mentor and develop managers and colleagues, also managing performance and accountability.

• Point of contact and responsibility to support resolving client escalations with a sense of urgency and accuracy.

• Ensure timely accurate responses to clients and/or other Strada teams.

• Ensure proper representation and facilitation of client meetings. Provide timely, accurate updates and education regarding tax filing processes, gaps, and requirements.

• Oversee timely research on compliance and regulatory issues.

• Ensure and support compilation, reporting, and analyzing of metrics. Use metrics to drive improvements and close process gaps.

• Support various payroll tax initiatives; testing and implementation efforts as needed.

• Coordinate and actively support SOP development, training, communication to team and maintain updates.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field—CPP, EA or CPA required.

• Master Tax experience required.

• ADP Smart Compliance experience desired.

• Strong communication and change-management skills required.

• 7+ years’ experience in payroll tax filing and/or related field required.

• Advanced understanding of payroll tax/payroll tax filing and/or related subject matter required.

• Advanced understanding of payroll tax filing regulatory and legislative guidelines required.

• Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication skills required.

• 5+ years of client interaction and management required.

• 5+ years people management experience required.

• 5+ years’ experience leading managers and/or team supervisors required.

Medium level project management and process improvement experience highly desired.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum - Maximum:

$100,170.00 - $186,030.00
