Job Description1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost control, revenue growth, and profit optimization.
- Monitor operational costs in the logistics industry, including transportation, warehousing, and supply chain-related expenses.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Regularly update financial forecasts, analyze variances between actual performance and budget, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Oversee logistics cost accounting, ensuring accurate allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency.
3. Tax and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and provide necessary financial data and documentation.
- Manage tax filings to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax documents.
4. Team Management
- Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide guidance and support.
5. System and Process Improvement
- Evaluate and improve existing financial systems and processes to ensure they meet the company’s evolving business needs.
- Implement automation tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
6. Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to ensure consistency between financial data and business operations.
- Provide financial support to assist management in making strategic decisions.
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
2. Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Public Accounting Firm, big four experience is higher preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial management experience, with a preference for logistics industry experience.
- Proven experience in team management, with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
3. Skills
- Proficient in financial software and office tools like Excel and Power Query.
- Familiar with financial processes in the logistics industry, including transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
4. Other Requirements
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
