Accounting Manager
 
Why We Have This Role
Qualtrics is looking for a proactive, collaborative accounting professional to serve as an Accounting Manager for the Americas region, based in our Provo office. This role reports to the Americas Controller and is a key player in supporting general accounting functions, as well as a critical participant in the global consolidation and reporting process. The ideal candidate has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and can adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. You will help streamline financial and operational processes, including implementing new systems and practices to support Qualtrics’ growth.

  • You serve as a go-to resource for collaboration and thought-partnership for many members of the team.
  • You informally act as a mentor for newer team members.
  • You are a trusted resource for business partners, able to resolve complex problems effectively and efficiently.
  • You help find efficiencies by supporting the automation of accounting and other business processes.
  • You can own meaningful projects impacting the broader Finance team from beginning to end, successfully managing stakeholders, identifying risks, and meeting timelines.
Things You’ll Do
  • Own monthly close responsibilities while proactively assisting and mentoring others in the close process.
  • Review monthly close tasks and reconciliations.
  • Prepare technical accounting analysis and memos.
  • Actively participate in internal and external reporting functions (i.e. generate core financial reports and footnotes).
  • Provide supporting documents and explanations to internal and external auditors.
  • Identify gaps in systems and processes and implement solutions.
  • Automate accounting processes as well as other business processes.
  • Act as a key player in cross-functional projects related to accounting.
  • Assist with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting with 4-6 years of accounting experience.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and related reporting requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and with automation tools (e.g., AI tools, VBA macros).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
