Accounting Manager (Based in HCMC)

YOUR MISSION

• The Accounting Manager is the senior accounting leader of the Amanotes, owning group accounting execution, consolidation, and Global entities end-to-end, while partnering closely with the Vietnam Accounting manager, Finance team for consolidation, reporting and statutory matters.
• You will report to the Head of Finance.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Group Accounting & IFRS Consolidation: Own end-to-end group close and consolidated IFRS reporting across all VN and SG entities. Define and enforce group accounting policies, Chart of Accounts, and consolidation framework.
• Singapore Entities — Full Accounting Ownership: Own statutory accounting, tax compliance, and audit for all Singapore & global entities. Lead cross-border intercompany and transfer pricing execution between SG and VN.
• IPO Readiness, Internal Controls & Technical Accounting: Drive transformation process toward IPO-readiness, internal control framework. Own technical accounting positions (share-based payments, revenue, business combinations, ESOP) and ensure the function is audit-ready and disclosure-ready at all times.
• Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and coach the Aaccounting team across VN and SG. Build succession, reduce key-person risk, and progressively in-house capability currently held by external providers.
• External Audit & Advisor Management: Act as primary counterpart for external auditors and advisors. Drive audit quality, advisor performance, and fee discipline.
• Systems, Process & Group Architecture: Partner with ERP and Restructuring workstreams. Support NetSuite stabilization, accounting design for new entities, and intercompany operating-model improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an Accounting Manager role with full ownership.
• Multi-entity, cross-border accounting experience (Vietnam + Singapore / Hong Kong / regional).
  Big 4 background (PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG) OR in-house Accounting Manager at an MNC / regional group.
• IFRS proficiency alongside Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) — including the VAS ↔ IFRS bridge in practice.
• Strong tax expertise: CIT, VAT, WHT, PIT, transfer pricing across VN and SG; comfortablecomfort engaging tax authorities and external advisors.
• Demonstrated audit fulfillment experience as auditee-side counterpart for Big 4.
• People management experience — at least 2 years leading 3+ direct reports.
• ACCA, CPA Vietnam, or CPA Australia qualified.
• Strong professional English — written and verbal
• Professional integrity and ability to work directly with regulators, auditors, and senior leadership.
