Responsibilities
- Improve sales and profitability of Ford accessories
- Act as subject matter expert for accessory product queries, liaising with dealers, the field team, product marketing team, FCSD-E marketing team, Technical Services and Daventry Parts Distribution Centre
- Ensure dealers have the right product support materials (fitting instructions etc) to support accessory sales
- Act as main point of contact with current/future suppliers for supplier-branded accessories, to identify product / marketing / sales opportunities
- Identify additional accessories opportunities, evaluate the business case and work with suppliers / FCSD-E to bring accessories to market
- Leverage the launch of new model launches to increase sales of accessories
- Support the pricing of accessories to ensure that we maximise sales and profitability
- Support the Accessory Marketing team in the development of sell in and sell out programmes and comms materials (e.g. image accuracy)
- Work with Ford College to ensure that accessories are integrated into dealer training courses
- Work in collaboration with the public affairs team on Dressing press garage vehicles to promote both vehicle and accessory ranges.
- Manage all accessory fixed content job menus including creation and administration
- Work with vehicle sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities where accessories can be used to dress ageing stock vehicles at national, regional or dealer level
- Ensure accessories are communicated in Ford of Britain Vehicle Brochures and approve FCSD content for all brochures in Burrows Ibrams and Nuworld online system
- Provide insight into the accessory competition (Halfords, on line retailers and other Vehicle Manufacturers) to identify best practice
- Ideally 2–3 years of experience in Marketing, preferably within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships, coupled with excellent communication skills and a results-driven mindset
- Genuine interest and solid understanding of Commercial Vehicles
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with a high level of enthusiasm and attention to detail
