Wargaming Belgrade is a game development studio in Serbia and a key member of the Wargaming global network. Our studio is home to talented and dedicated teams of game developers, artists, and designers, one of them being World of Warships team, who are passionate about creating the best gaming experiences for our players.
The R&D team is a crucial part of the process that ensures the improvement of current 3D model production pipelines. The main task is to modernize and optimize the pipeline and introduce new technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of the work.
In the role of 3D Artist RnD in WoWS, you will be able to research and implement solutions to improve the pipeline of creating models of various warships, armaments and equipment!

What will you do?

Research, develop, test and implement tools and methodologies for 3D asset creation.

Analyze, optimize and modernize current production pipeline.

Research the latest products and technologies on the market.

Work with production documentation.

Collaborate with other teams to integrate new solutions into the production process.

Conduct training and educational sessions for 3D artists.
What are we looking for?

Excellent understanding of the principles and methods of 3D graphics creation.

Extensive experience in video game development as a 3D artist in various pipelines.

Desire to continuously learn new tools and technologies.

Excellent knowledge of Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Adobe Photoshop.

Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
-
High level of self-organization and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

English: B2 or higher.
-
Russian: B1 or higher.
What additional skills will help you stand out?

Programming skills, especially in writing Python scripts.

Skills in writing JavaScript scripts for Adobe Photoshop.

Deep understanding of the principles of 3D graphics in game projects.

Experience with custom game engines.

Understanding of the specifics of producing historically accurate 3D content.
