Key Responsibilities
- The 2nd Provision Master is responsible for maintaining Food and Beverage (F&B) stores, including recording, controlling, and issuing inventory to operational departments. They are responsible for promptly informing the F&B Storekeeper of slow-moving items, managing inventory, and keeping them informed about critical supply levels. They monitor consumption trends, report discrepancies, and assist in USPH pre-inspections.
- The 2nd Provision Master also participates in internal loading of stores items, issues last-minute orders, and reports technical defects. They ensure compliance with inventory and product control policies and procedures. They maintain regular communication with F&B department heads and respond promptly to internal requests.
- The 2nd Provision Master creates a positive first impression on internal customers through friendly and professional behavior. They maintain communication with onboard F&B management and other departments, comply with applicable policies and procedures, and maintain records regarding public health and sanitation standards. They ensure the work environment and equipment are safe operating order, and perform job duties in compliance with safety policies.
- The 2nd Provision Master follows timekeeping rules and creates accurate ILO records. They also perform all General Emergency Organization duties as directed in the Emergency Response Organization.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- At least 2 years prior experience in a large F&B Store environment.
- Solid knowledge of Food and Beverage storage and preservation techniques, processes and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures.
- Good English language skills, both verbal and written.
- Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
- Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
- Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.

This position involves regular physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving heavy items in line with operational requirements.
