What You’ll Do:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, architect, implement, and sustain a highly available Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hosting environment, including required network resources.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Work under general supervision to develop technical requirements from project inception through completion.
- Develop specifications and documentation for simple to moderately complex technical challenges.
- Support and maintain a corporate, campus-wide CISCO LAN infrastructure with Gigabit switching and routing to internal servers and external networks.
- Collaborate with Vendor PM, COTRs, and government representatives to ensure accurate technical solutions and overall user satisfaction.
- Provide engineering support to ensure high availability, scalability, and cybersecurity compliance throughout the GCP environment.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 projects in relevant PWS technical areas.
- At least one relevant project within the last 3 years.
- Expert-level experience with COTS 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN infrastructure including associated hardware/software components.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting DoW IT hosting solutions.
- Security+ or IAT II certification
- CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CISSP
- Secret Clearance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior military officials, managers, and technical teams
- Experience designing secure cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar environments (AWS/Azure)
