At Aleria, we measure inclusion in the workplace. More specifically, we anonymously collect data from employees and help business leaders pinpoint where to focus their efforts to drive greater inclusion, diversity, employee satisfaction and, ultimately, greater business performance.
Right outside of cities, we build tech-enabled, smart indoor farms that grow flavorful, sustainable, and safe produce. We are a mission-driven team of creative builders, problem-solvers, and activators and we're reimagining farming from the ground up. We foster a collaborative culture where individuals choose to opt-in, think wildly different, break barriers together, and be kind to the core every single day.
At Care/of, we take the guesswork out of feeling better by helping people build custom vitamin routines based on their unique needs. Whether it’s our personalized daily vitamin packs and powders through our direct-to-consumer business, or our multivitamins and blends with our retail partner Target, our products are backed by science and include a combination of highly-researched nutrients and traditionally used herbs. By providing honest guidance and better ingredients, we aim to help people feel empowered to make the right choices for their health. Since our launch in 2016, we have raised capital from top investors including Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, Goodwater Capital, Tusk Ventures, RRE Capital, Juxtapose, and Bayer. In late 2020, Bayer secured additional investment in Care/of giving it majority ownership. By joining forces with Bayer, we are able to expand our ability to connect directly with new and existing customers and elevate our unwavering commitment to science-backed guidance, quality ingredients, and sustainable practices. OUR CORE VALUES Be Humble: Engage in debate with an open mind. Embrace feedback and being wrong when presented with data that shows there is a better option. Be Honest: Deliver the truth with humor and love. Recognize and stand up against discrimination on the basis of race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religious background, or mental and physical abilities - in our work and beyond. Be Thoughtful: Attack hard problems with thoughtful tenacity. Don’t shy away from complex problems with complex solutions. Be Different: Kill your darlings. Don’t be afraid to re-write something once effective, loved, or widely accepted in the past. Evolution is wonderful. Push against banality and the status quo

OUR STORY BRICK (Build Responsible, Intelligent and Creative Kids) is a school management organization founded by six visionary teachers dedicated to building and managing high-quality public schools for the neediest children and addressing the elements of poverty that impede academic excellence. We believe a child's zip code should not determine his or her educational attainment, and that a school, working in partnership with its community, can serve as a gateway to opportunity. BRICK schools work alongside community leaders and organizations to address the many challenges that kids growing in poverty face such as hunger, lack of health care, poor housing, lack of resources, etc. Only when we address the needs of the whole child, will we be able to break the cycle of poverty and transform the lives of individual children and whole neighborhoods. OUR MISSION The BRICK mission is to turnaround high-poverty schools by implementing proven systems to put all children on a positive life trajectory and consequently ending generational poverty. In the five years since BRICK Academy launched its first school turnaround effort, there has been significant improvement in student academic performance, attendance rates and community engagement. To learn more about our school’s mission, please visit BRICK Academy.
