Employers are often looking for experienced applicants to fill their job openings but to gain the right mix of skills and hands-on training to make them an enticing hire, early career professionals need an employer to take a chance on them. These companies are hiring new grads through initiatives that engage them in mentorship, networking, job rotations and other career development opportunities.

Mirakl offers a suite of tools for e-commerce growth and optimization, including the Mirakl Platform for creating marketplaces, Mirakl Payout for secure seller payments and Mirakl Target2Sell for AI-driven product recommendations. The company’s scalable solutions help B2B and B2C companies manage third-party marketplaces, automate processes, and fuel digital growth. Mirakl is on the lookout for new grads interested in joining its sales team as business development representatives.


PatientPoint makes digital tools that doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers use to inform, educate and communicate with patients, like waiting-room screens with customized healthcare content, engagement platforms for doctor-patient communication and patient acquisition tools. To attract rising college seniors and recent grads, the company operates an intern onboarding program that speeds them through initial training and prepares them to create an intern capstone project under direct mentorship from senior leaders.

McCain Foods is a multinational company in the food and beverage space. The signature McCain product is frozen fries and specialty potato products, with more than one million pounds of potato products processed every hour in manufacturing plants around the world. The company attracts recent college grads with competitive comp packages and strong mentorship programs. 


Tufin is a software company that makes cybersecurity tools. Its cloud software is used in automating security policy for client networks, which it secures through strategies of firewall management, network segmentation, compliance automation and risk assessment. As client companies use cloud software, the inherent vulnerabilities of these processes can be mitigated by stacking them with Tufin products to protect against data breaches and cybercrime. The company currently has several entry-level positions open and welcomes recent grads.


OTR Solutions is a factoring company, which means it buys unpaid or delinquent invoices at a discount from companies that are waiting on payment for goods, assumes the debt itself and then secures payment. For merchants, working with a factoring company makes cash accessible. OTR makes fintech tools to support this process, like payment processing software for the trucking industry. It proudly hires early-career applicants, including those with zero experience, as long as they are high-energy team players with the desire to learn and excellent collaboration and communication skills. 


Liberty Mutual is a longstanding American insurance provider that offers automotive, property and many other types of insurance policies to both individuals and other businesses. The company eagerly hires and mentors new grads and operates several internship programs designed to support college students and recent alumni through their transition to the full-time workplace.  


DraftKings is a mobile gaming company that creates betting experiences to cater to competitive sports fans. The company’s products include DraftKings Sportsbook which is live with mobile and retail sports betting operations in several states and Ontario, Jackpocket a digital lottery app and a daily fantasy sports product available in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

The app also includes My AI, a chatbot powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT, enhancing user interaction with features like trivia, travel suggestions and gift ideas. The HEICO Companies is a holding corporation that operates companies across the aerospace, manufacturing, construction and industrial sectors. Its long list of companies include Davis Wire, which makes steel wire products, Titan Formwork Systems, which makes shoring equipment for construction and Ancra Aircraft, an aerospace cargo systems company. Heico has a thriving internship program and regularly recruits recent grads to join its ranks. 


Vertafore is a software company that makes products for the insurance sector. Its digital tools are built for insurance brokers, carriers, agencies and other industry professionals, and work by facilitating and optimizing essential processes like quoting, credentialing and compliance. The company supports new grads through technical training and mentorship programs that connect new hires with seasoned mentors.


The Kraft Heinz Company is responsible for producing well-known food and beverage brands like Oscar Mayer, Capri-Sun, Kool-Aid, Ore-Ida and Lunchables. It offers immersive internship opportunities that provide participants with real-world experience, as well as trainee programs that prepare participants for full-time roles with Kraft Heinz in areas such as manufacturing and research and development. MobilityWare is a California-based gaming company that specializes in bringing players card and puzzle games. Its career opportunities include internships to foster student talent as well as positions that cover a range of experience levels. Capital One is a financial services company that offers credit cards, checking and savings accounts, loans and other traditional banking services. Capital One recruits promising new talent straight out of college, setting them up with two-year rotational programs that start them as full-time associates but move them from role to role within the company to allow them to find their niche. 


Chevron is an energy company that manufactures and retails refined oil and gas products, including diesel, gasoline, aviation and marine fuel, lubricants and fuel oil additives. The company has two training tracks for recent grads of undergraduate and graduate programs, respectively. Individuals with an undergraduate degree can gain training via Horizons, an early career mentorship program that covers job fields including petroleum engineering, information technology, procurement and supply chain management. 


Oracle is a tech company that deals in database software and cloud computing. One of the largest software companies in the world, more than 400,000 customers use Oracle’s products and services, including major enterprises such as Samsung and Marriott. The company’s Class Of program prepares recent grads with business fundamentals training and job-specific skills training in sales, solution engineering or consulting.


Epsilon is a marketing tech company that uses data to personalize marketing assets and customer experiences. Part of the company’s commitment to nurturing team members as they grow in their careers is its early career programs, which recruit and develop new talent by offering robust, immersive training. The company runs an internship program and a New Grad Program that onboards new graduates with eight weeks of paid group skills training in preparation for transitioning them into their job duties.
