Systems Engineer
The Gogo Business Aviation Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing the system architecture, design, and specifying system and subsystem requirements for aviation telecommunications equipment.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Work with a cross functional teams to define new product features, including capture, analysis, articulation and execution of requirements from Product Management, Manufacturing, and Customer Support teams.
- Effectively communicate design guidance, architecture, and requirements to Hardware and Software engineering teams to implement.
- Work with the Product Management team and ensure that the goal of each feature is communicated at all levels during implementation to help drive focused decision making and design.
- Where many technical solutions are viable, teams can disagree on the technical approach. You will need to resolve these conflicts and guide the teams toward the right technical solution.
- Contribute to the specification and design of subsystems and equipment covering avionics and telecommunication systems. This will include the integration of subsystems into various avionics systems and platforms.
- Provide system, software, and hardware requirements development, and system design and detailed design for new products.
- Assist with generating systems level architecture and guidance for design engineers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years systems engineering experience
- 2+ years experience with avionics, avionics integration, or other similar aerospace applications
- 2+ years experience in the telecommunications/wireless environment
- Willing to be in the office 2-3 days per week
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TALENTS
- Experience as a System Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Hardware Engineer, or Aircraft Engineer
- Experience developing embedded hardware or software products
- Ability to function within a team with extraordinary harmony
- Experience working in a configuration-controlled environment
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TALENTS
- Conducting requirements analysis and decomposing product requirements into system, software, and hardware requirements
- Knowledge of avionics systems and their interrelation and interconnection
- Experience with development in AWS or other back-end systems
- Familiarity with business processes in a product delivery organization
- Expertise with ARINC 429 data communication
- Understanding of FCC and FAA (DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254) objectives
- Experience with LTE, CMDA, and wireless/RF systems
- Experience with integrating, verifying, and/or validating complex systems comprised of multiple sub-systems

92,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
