IDeaS, a SAS company, has an outstanding opportunity for a Learning Experience Designer. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be responsible for providing online training and assistance for clients working with the IDeaS suite of products, in support of company and department goals. IDeaS Learning Expereince Designer bring innovation and clarity to the client's experience with IDeaS Solutions and set the stage for a strong ongoing relationship.
As a Learning Experience Designer, you are the architect of learning that enables IDeaS teams to reach role and subject matter proficiency and beyond. You will use your creativity, data-driven insights, and instructional design expertise to create experiences that are engaging, effective, and memorable.
What you'll be doing...

  • Conducts needs assessment and task analysis with SME's to confirm behavior-based performance objectives.
  • Communicates with subject matter experts in determining required content, purpose of materials, and delivery strategy.
  • Designs and builds educational materials, including self-paced learning, instructor decks, facilitator and participant guides, job aids, videos, process modification, communication plans, and evaluation tools.
  • Writes objectives, outlines, storyboards and other supporting documentation, as necessary.
  • Plans, collects and analyzes training related metrics
  • Evaluates effectiveness of materials through metrics and reporting from corporate Learning Management System and other education-related data sources.
  • Estimates the time needed to develop any education component; collaborates with project stakeholders on scheduling, communications, and risk management to meet project milestones.
  • Organizes collections of educational content for efficiency and ease of use.
  • Manages multiple concurrent projects, prioritizes workload, and communicates progress to stakeholders and managers.
  • Communicates across the organization about internal enablement


What you'll bring to us...

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field
  • 5+ years of full cycle instructional design experience
  • Excellent knowledge and application of all aspects of instructional design and adult learning principals and models.
  • Experience using instructional technologies including learning management systems, video creation platforms, e-learning authoring tools (Discover, Synthesia and Articulate 360 preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with expertise writing, speaking and presenting information for various audiences.
  • Ability to develop and design a complete informational product, incorporating industry best practices, a user-centric approach and pre-established style guidelines
  • Ability to organize collections of learning products for efficiency and ease of use
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, to prioritize, and to work independently.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
