PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $91,700.00-$112,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $71,200.00 - $132,600.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

The Associate Product Manager - Conversational AI will play a critical role in shaping and delivering product strategies and roadmaps for the conversational AI product. You'll support the high-level priorities, approaches, and vision necessary to enable effective production and outcomes. You'll also support optimal flow of research, concept, design, prioritization, and delivery towards building the organization's products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap: Help drive the direction of conversational AI products in alignment with the organization's goals and strategy.
  • Drive Decision Making: Play a key role in intake, scoping and driving crucial decisions that will impact the success of conversational AI products and the BECU organization as whole.
  • Product Development: Coordinate research, concept development, create intuitive and engaging conversational flows that guide users effectively and ensures a user-friendly experience.
  • Product Release: Update documentation for delivery teams and accountability for release goals and priorities related to conversational AI.
  • Product Performance: Monitor product performance metrics to track effectiveness of products and capabilities to achieve business outcomes.
  • Product Lifecycle: Maintain ownership of assigned product throughout the lifecycle. Responsible for quarterly audit, and quality assurance as new bots and virtual assistants are introduced. Ensure content and links are accurate and reflect current policy.
  • Vendor Relationships: Foster strong and collaborative relationships with vendors to ensure the success of the products.
  • Build Your Expertise: Demonstrate deep willingness to build knowledge in the AI capability and its industry trends. Stay current with best practices, and emerging technologies in conversational design and AI to keep our offerings competitive.
  • Customer Insights: Understand the voice of the customer and bring that information into the product design and decision-making process. Analyze user interactions and utilize data-driven insights to continually refine conversational designs and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Collaborative Environment: Facilitate and coordinate information sharing with cross-functional teams to design and implement chatbots and virtual assistants that improve customer experiences and streamline financial processes. Maintain content libraries for chatbots, ensuring they have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Tech Partnership: Work closely with IT teams to integrate chatbots with backend systems and databases, prioritizing data security and compliance within financial regulations.
  • Documentation & Training Resources: Assist in writing training for customer support teams and create documentation for internal stakeholders to effectively utilize conversational interfaces.
  • Troubleshooting: Handle ticketing requests for various business units and troubleshoot chat flow concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of product management, development, or operations, or equivalent experience with platform technology.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Conversational AI knowledge preferred.
  • Experience working with AI product development lifecycle preferred.
  • Experience working with Liveperson, Glia, or similar platform.
  • Experience working with elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Previous experience working in an agile environment.
  • Self-directed and able to proactively identify business and customer needs and opportunities.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
