She's also written for Warner Brothers Discovery’s award-winning Curiosity Daily podcast and has done consulting work for a variety of clients including Kindling Group, a nonprofit documentary production company based in Chicago.

He previously worked as the editor-in-chief of Pacific Standard, the digital editorial director at Outside and as an associate editor at The Atlantic, where he launched the magazine’s health, technology and science coverage areas.

He joined the company in 2020 and leads the expert contributor team, which publishes dispatches and commentary written by working technology professionals. He previously worked as the deputy editor of Pacific Standard and as a writer and producer at The Atlantic, where he covered international affairs and crime. His debut narrative nonfiction book, The Truffle Underground, was published by Clarkson Potter/Random House in 2019.
